Dogs are pretty adaptable, so much so that we think that they are human!! So much so we even give them human jobs even human names. Let's face it we LOVE our dogs!
Sad fact is they are NOT humans, they ARE dogs! Here for a short time, fun loving, loyal and generally very jovial! But not so much on knowing the human rules.

Just like we don't go around licking other people's faces or sniffing other peoples butts neither do dogs know it's not okay to pee on the carpet or eat the crackers and cheese on the coffee table! Just like we learned so must they...manners ARE important!
...Because we bring them into our homes and they fit so well we automatically assume that they know the ins and outs of the rules we follow as humans. So, WE actually need to learn how to teach them the human ways, what we expect, that cans and cannots of the household. It is because of these expectations that we OWE IT TO OUR DOGS to get the proper training so they can understand the rules...so they can be perfect pets and companions...!
