The Art of Manifesting

May 11, 2009
Writing down your hopes, dreams and goals gets you to where you want to be in life. Providing you follow ALL the rules of The Law of Attraction!

About 15 years ago my husband and I decided to do a Goal Book. It was something that I had learned many years ago from a boss I once had. In the goal book there were a series of steps you took to arrive at a certain outcome. It was somewhat tedious nevertheless we achieved the outcome, a book of goals that we had both worked on. Days passed, then week the goal book was placed on a shelf in our library and started to collect dust removing the goals from our minds. We moved and the goal book ended up in a box. Months and years came and went, our goals long forgotten and then one day I opened the box and found that old goal book. I showed it to my husband and we decided, just for fun we'd go through it and read what we had written. Much to our surprise we had achieved 18 out of the 20 goals we had set for our selves! The two that had not been achieved were things, we decided, that we never really even wanted! Well we must try this again mustn't we! But we didn't, things got busy, we were too tired after working all day, we have to paint the house and once again we forgot about our goal book.

When I look back over the years, at the times in my life that there were things that I just couldn't live without, I can see the times when I actually got some things and times when I did not. By reliving those moments and feeling the emotions of them, the thought patterns, the knowing in my very soul "that this" is truly what I wanted... those are the times that what I truly wanted, manifested in my life! The times when there was no doubt, no second guessing, no what ifs...That's when what I truly wanted, manifested in my life.

All this is what I teach in ALL of my workshops. Though I love the Manifest Your Abundance workshops Vision Boarding has become my favorite. Are you ready to Manifest What You Truly Want in Your Life??? Email me...I can show you how!!

The Class Looks Like This!

April 4, 2009
Creating Hatha Yoga Classes almost 5 years ago I had a much different prospective on what a class should 'look' like. I thought of it as quiet and serious, concentrating and focused! There was no laughter, it was very relaxing and very serene. It worked.

Hatha Yoga is learning gentle stretching and proper breathing that offers astounding flexibility results, great muscle tone and even abdominal muscle tightness. It's amazing! BUT it is NOT painful. In fact if you are looking for a practice that is no pain no gain then this is not where you'll find that! What you WILL find however is NO PAIN ALL GAIN!! The results arrive so subtly that everyone is always surprised when they find they can bend in a way that they haven't been able to in a very long time...some can touch the floor palms down never mind touch their toes!

Then I really started looking into a new craze...Laughter Yoga! AND all I can say is WOW! The effects of that are phenomenal! Learning it is simple, practicing it even more simple! There are Laughter Yoga Teachers all over the world, yet I feel that it is not really necessary to take the two day training that is offered. I learned it over the internet, through an online course, from a Laughter Yoga Teacher that saw this as a gift and basically charged only for the Laughter Yoga Leader Certificate, even though he had paid quite a price for his own "training". What a gift it is! After learning the basics of it I brought it into my classes and found that yes Laughter IS the BEST medicine! But it was missing something. So after looking at the benefits of both I decided that I would combine the two classes and call it Laughing Hatha Yoga. I introduced it to my yoga students and it has been readily received with open arms... everyone absolutely loves it and raves about it!

So what does it look like...well we start off doing some clapping, chanting ho-ho-ha-ha-ha to simulate laughter, and move into laughing exercises that stimulate real laughter. We then work our way into a focus relaxed string of gentle stretching exercises and proper breathing techniques from there we flow into Savasana the most relaxing wonderful part of the entire class. Total relaxation! And everyone leaves, joyful and peaceful, happy and serene and working their way to better health... So Laughing Hatha Yoga well, you could say "it's a matter of Laugh or Death"... What a wonderful way to promote health and well-being!!!

Namaste!

How We Can Improve Our Health

March 15, 2009
In these times of shrinking healthcare systems and long waiting lists for heath fixes, increased incidents of Cancer, Cardiovascular Health Problems and so many other issues of declining health it's time we stepped up to the plate and did something to promote self-healing.

Two phrases come to mind when I think of self-healing... these phrases have been around for a VERY long time! One, "Laughter Is The Best Medicine" and two, "Physician Heal Thyself"! The evidence of laughter being the best medicine can be found in what it does for you and your well being! And physician heal thyself... well it clearly indicates that no one heals anyone but themselves! Taking on any fitness or exercise class has nothing but benefits for good health.

My goal has always been to help people who want to heal themselves and to have a place for them to come and do just that! Right now The Laughing Dragon Retreat is promoting Laughing Hatha Yoga, a creative combination of laughter exercises and gentle Hatha Yoga stretches, proper breathing techniques and relaxation. As time goes on we will introduce workshops, practices and different techniques that will help even more people learn and create wellness, good health and abundance in their lives!

Won't you join us in this global movement for good health?!!!
